Legend has it that the drink was named after a beach close to the town of Daiquiri, where American mining engineer Jennings Cox invented the cocktail during the Spanish-American War. Seeking a refreshing libation, he combined rum, lime, and sugar, crafting a simple yet delightful mix that quickly gained popularity. Over time, the daiquiri has evolved and inspired various versions, but we are sticking to its roots with a combination of Ten to One rum, fresh lime juice and a touch of house made cane syrup.
